Entry forms are available at the Pirate Stage in Brooklyn Court during the Waikato Winter Show, Claudelands, Hamilton, 30th April, 1st & 2nd May 2010.

This fantastic childrens playhouse is being built by "The Hamilton Community Men’s Shed" and will be delivered free to the winner, anywhere within the Hamilton City boundaries. If the winner is from outside Hamilton we will discuss delivery arrangements.

The Hamilton Community Men’s Shed was launched on the 19th March 2008 in Hamilton, New Zealand, with about 20 enthusiastic people in attendance. Following some initial discussions in the community a steering group was established that later became a board of trustees. This community group builds skills as well as useful products that benefits Hamilton service organisations.

Designing, building and supplying childrens toys and a variety projects from their Ward Park base. A group of volunteers, these men are almost like Santas Elves, but taller (and not a pair of green pants in sight). This groups not only produces the hardware of playgrounds but creates a learning environment for the men to expand there handyman skills while making a positive contribution to our society.
